Instructions and Templates

Papers must be formatted using the Springer LNICST Authors' Kit.

Instructions and templates are available from Springer's LNICST homepage:

Please make sure that your paper adheres to the format as specified in the instructions and templates.

When uploading the camera-ready copy of your paper, please be sure to upload both:

  • a PDF copy of your paper formatted according to the above templates, and
  • an archive file (e.g. zip, tar.gz) containing the both a PDF copy of your paper and LaTeX or Word source material prepared according to the above guidelines.
Intetain follows a double blind review process, therefore all submissions must be annonymized to support the blind review process.

To prepare an anonymized submission, authors are expected to remove author and institutional identities from the cover page, the acknowledgements section, and the PDF meta-data. Institution information should also be removed from the body of the text. For instance, use “…participants were recruited from a university campus” instead of “…participants were recruited from <Institution Name>.” Additionally, we recommend removing marks that identify institutional affiliation from images and supplementary videos (e.g., institutional attire, logos) as much as possible.

However, we ask that authors leave citations to their prior work un-anonymized in order to provide a more comprehensive review of prior work including the authors’ own research. Authors citing their own prior work should discuss it in the third person. For instance, use “Prior work by <Author Name> [6]…” instead of “Our prior work [6]…”
