Airport

The Turin International Airport (TRN) is within easy reach of the city both by car and by public transport on Sadem buses or the GTT train.

The airport lies 16 kilometers (10 miles) from the city center, and connects with national and international destinations. Please refer to the airport web site: https://www.aeroportoditorino.it/en/hp_en.html

Taxi

The easiest way to get to Politecnico di Torino from the Airport is by taxi. The public taxi rank is located on the left of the exit on the Arrivals level. The taxi fare is about 40/45€ to reach downtown Turin, and the travel time is approximately 30 minutes.

Shuttle buses - Sadem

Buses are available from the airport to the city centre every day. Shuttle buses travel between the airport (domestic arrivals on ground floor-level-zero) and the Porta Nuova main railway station at the corner of via Sacchi 8 and via Assietta. Tickets may be purchased at the news-stand in the departures lounge, or from the tourist bureau, ticket office, ticket machines on the arrivals level. Fare is 6.50€ one-way. The journey lasts 45/50 minutes. Buses run every 30-45 minutes, depending on time of day.

The closest bus station to Politecnico di Torino is the Porta Susa station. The Residence Borsellino or the hotel NH Ambasciatori are a short walk from the Porta Susa bus station.

From the Porta Nuova station in the city center, take the bus 68 or tramway 9 (west direction) outside Porta Nuova Station, get off at stop '558 - Palagiustizia', then walk for five minutes following the via Paolo Borsellino to the Residence Borsellino. Train

A railway links the airport to a small, peripheral station Turin GTT Dora Railway Station. From this station, the city centre is reached by bus. The airport railway station is located a few metres from the air terminal. Train departures are every 30 minutes: from 5:03am to 23:08pm to the airport and from 5:04am to 21:03pm to Turin. The train ride takes 19 minutes. Tickets are sold at the ticket office (Ricevitoria) in the Arrival lounge, the fare is BIGLIETTO INTEGRATO B at 3 €.

Public transportation in Turin – The local transport company GTT (Gruppo Torinese Trasporti) provides bus, train, and metro urban and suburban transport services in Turin and neighboring towns. https://www.gtt.to.it/en/
